How to travel from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to the conference location at Georgia Tech in midtown Atlanta:
- Public transportation: From the domestic terminal of the Atlanta airport, travelers can access Atlanta’s local transportation system “MARTA”, taking any northbound train from the airport station. All trains depart from the MARTA station directly inside the domestic terminal (follow signs from the baggage claim area). For travelers arriving at the international terminal, there is a free 15 minute shuttle bus from outside the international terminal to the domestic terminal. The MARTA train ride from Airport station to midtown Atlanta is about 30 minutes. Exit the MARTA train at North Avenue station, and walk 5 minutes northwest to reach the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Alternatively, exit the MARTA train at Midtown station, and walk 5 minutes southwest (or take the free Georgia Tech trolley which departs from the south side of the Midtown MARTA station, and disembark at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center).
- Taxis, uber, and lyft ride-sharing pick up passengers at the domestic and international terminals of the Atlanta airport. Follow signs from baggage claim to the pick-up locations.

Cancellation Policy – Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival date. Any cancellations received after 6pm prior to the day of arrival will be charged 1 night’s room and tax.
Changes – If you need to make any changes or cancellations to your reservation make your changes through the online reservations system or call (800) 706-2899. All changes are based on availability. Failure to arrive on your confirmed date will result in one night’s room and tax no-show penalty (charged to the credit card provided).

Campus Lodging
Georgia Tech on campus lodging for ISCE offers a private bedroom, with shared full bathroom. All residents of the building share a lounge, study area, and kitchen on the first floor. Bedrooms are furnished with a bed (with extra-long mattress), desk, desk chair, wardrobe and dresser. The bed can be independently set up in two configurations, low or medium. Linens are provided, which include pillow, blanket, sheets and bath towels. No daily housekeeping provided.

Shared-Ride Van Service provides transportation services to and from the Atlanta central business district: Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead. Shuttles leave every 15 minutes from the Airport from stalls 3 through 10.

Local Public Transit

AMTRAK

Greyhound
Greyhound Flightlink provides transportation services from the Airport to selected cities and states. For pick-up locations, go to the lower level of Terminal North (use the escalator down from the North baggage claim area). For reservations, call (888) 287-6359 or visit www.greyhound.com

Limousines
More than 300 companies provide limousine service to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as well as to areas surrounding the Airport. Many companies offer stretch limousine and executive car service, while others provide executive car service only. Contact the company directly to make reservations or to ask about additional services. Once you have made a reservation, your driver will either meet you inside the terminal near the atrium or curbside on the south lower level. The pickup process should be explained when you call to make the reservation. All limousine service must be arranged in advance. Any state-licensed limousine company is allowed to drop off passengers at the terminal curbside.
Taxis
A set fee applies between the Airport and the central business district. A special per-person rate applies for two or more passengers. Fares originating from a business and concluding at a business within downtown, Buckhead and Midtown are at a rate of $8 ($2 for each additional person).
